This segment of the network (GOAB) is a database where offers and gifts are catalogued. There are no administrative fees required. To access GOAB one must be a registered subscriber or registered organization. Anyone who wishes to donate their personal items should first register as a subscriber or as an organization and then upload their donated item here. Anyone interested in the offer must login and apply for it. Application for an offer is free of charge and all items offered are free but one must apply to accept the offer. The process of logging an item offered is simple and easy. The member offering an item have a choice of posting the item via audio, video or text with pictures that simply describes the item being offered. After details of an item is uploaded and saved, it automatically becomes visible to all members of the website without restrictions. The only restriction is that not more than 12 applicant members can be in the queue for the item at a given time and preference is given to subscribers who already have a problem posted in the network over those that do not. In posting an item the offering member would have to answer few relevant questions regarding percentage of shipping cost, if any, that they can contribute to and the distance to which they can shoulder shipping cost in getting the item shipped to the destination of any qualified member who accepted their offer. On the other hand the accepting member also would declare what portion of the shipping costs they can provide to have the item shipped to them. If any or both of them take up the full responsibility to ship the item to its destination, then the problem is said to be fully resolved and so transferred to GRB to be treated as a resolved case from the GOAB. However, if either of them cannot shoulder part or all of the shipping costs then our administrators’ goal would be to showcase this as a problem and pass the word around for help for the complete shipping costs to be paid directly to the shippers. If our effort did not pay off after 21 days and we do not have the resources to help ship the item, then the applicant member would forfeit their right to the item and the next applicant member on the line applying for the item would be considered. Members are urged to read the condition of the item profiled to weight the probability and chances for shipment etc. A simple way of doing so is to look at the condition profile of the offer and the condition profile of forfeited applicants to estimate chances before applying. Applying for an item is on a first come first served basis and no more than 12 applicants to an item are activated at a given time. This means that application to an item is close after 12 applicants are filled and when one member applicant forfeits their chance only one other interested member applicant would be added.
As a policy, there are no commercial activities; buying, selling, leasing or renting allowed on this website and no sexual explicit materials of any kind allowed. Also this network is not a place where people seeking intimacy or marriage meets for mating purposes or for anything along those lines. We do not receive or secure any material value for or from any of the parties involved. Our administrators would mediate between those who are offering an item and applicant members accepting it for a smooth transition of the contract between the two parties. When and where possible we may help contribute to shipment if resources are available. We are also committed to collecting computers and to distribute them to schools, school-aged children and social organizations around the world that are working directly or indirectly with children for the main purpose of furthering our goal in giving each child a chance to partake in our Scholastic Chess Programs located at www.ourfamilychess.com.
